
Mark has been a licensed physical therapists since 1999. His clinical experience ranges from pediatrics, geriatrics, amputees, wound care, sports orthopedics, pre and post surgical, meurological including spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, strokes and traumatic brain injuries. He recently was the rehabilitation director for a 142 bed skilled nursing and rehab facility in charge of patient care in regards to their overall rehabilitation needs including physical, occupational therapy and speech therapy. He had developed close relationships with surrounding healthcare providers in the community. Mark has worked closely with orthotists/prosthetics, diabetic foot care specialists, The Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, ALS Foundation, MS Society of Boston, HESSCO, South Shore Elders Service, social workers and Durable medical equipment specialists. Mark has a vast knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance, worker's compensation and motor vehicle coverages. Mark and his stall will work within the system to advocate for their patient's needs.
Mark's interest in sports and well being extend far beyond the Physical Therapy world. He has owned and operates as the sole instructor of South Shore Kenpo Karate, a martial arts school for all ages located in nearby Stoughton since 1999. He has been studying karate for the last 27 years. Mark's karate teacher was an acupuncturist and his extensive teachings of the body inspired Mark at a young age to spark an interest in the profession of physical therapy.
Darlene is a 1994 graduate of Newbury College in Brookline, MA where she received her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Darlene worked in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, orthopaedic sports clinics and made home visits with the Visitng Nurse Association.
Darlene is also a 1997 graduate of Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA where she received her massage therapy certification. Darlene has worked as a licensed massage therapist in hair salons, day spas and physical therapy clinics as well as running her own private practice, First Hand Massage Therapy.
Darlene returned to Bancroft in 2001 as an instructor where she taught Swedish Relaxation Massage, Sports and Deep tissue Techniques and assisted in Bancroft’s Advanced Massage Program designed for Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers to receive their certification in Massage Therapy.
Darlene moved to Florida in 2004 where she taught massage and pursued her massage therapy skills at a day spa where she began massaging pro-wrestler “Devon” of Team 3-D.
Darlene moved back to MA in the fall of 2007 and is currently employed at National Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant/Massage Therapist. She also works at Spatique in Marshfield as a Massage Therapist. Darlene still provides Massage Therapy services for Devon and other pro-wrestlers when they come to the Northeast for cable tapings.
