Reebok Cross Fit Games - Road to the Fittest Regionals 2015
Brett Lynch Doctor of physical therapy at National Physical Therapy was chosen to be a member of the athlete services rehab team at the Reebok Crossfit East regionals 2015 "road to the fittest". The athlete services team was a multidisciplinary healthcare team comprised of physical therapy, chiropractic, massage and athletic training providers from across the United States and Canada. The East regionals athletic competition took place at the XL center in Hartford Connecticut and both female and male Crossfit competitors from the east region, Northeast United States and Canada East were competing in a grueling three day event.
These female and male competitors were vying to become one of the top five female/male athletes to advance onto the Reebok Crossfit games, a worldwide athletic/fitness contest held in Carson California in July with the female/male winners earning the title "fittest on the planet". This was Brett's' third straight year being asked to be a part of the athlete rehab services team and each year he has gained valuable experience and benefited by being exposed to the latest and best rehab techniques that he then uses while treating patients at both the Hanover and Holbrook offices. The athlete services team was sponsored by Rocktape the brand of kinesiotape used by physical therapists in National Physical Therapy offices.
